AIME announces conference on interactive technology for charities

The Association for Interactive Media and Entertainment is holding a one-day series of seminars for charities on how to make the most of new and established interactive, social media and payment channels increase public engagement and drive fundraising.
The event takes place on 27 May at the Hilton London Paddington Hotel, and will cover topics such as the tax and revenue share implications of text/SMS donations; online campaign planning; direct response with WAP, SMS, web and email; the role of apps and social media integration; red button donations; and technical integration with CRM and data management systems.
There will be presentations from charities including Comic Relief/Sports Relief, UNICEF, Save the Children, and WSPA.
Speakers include Rob Weisz, Commercial Director, Mobile Interactive Group; Phil Mulligan, Third Party Services, Orange; Rory Maguire, Head of Payments, 3; Roger Craven, Managing Director, Vir2 Ltd; Jim Manis, President, Mobile Giving Foundation USA; and Chris Ward, Director, Join1 Goal.
Tickets for the event are £75 for AIME members and charity sector delegates, and £99 for non-members.
