TDA wins Samaritans direct marketing account
Samaritans has appointed direct-to-digital agency TDA as its direct marketing agency after a three-way competitive pitch. The agency will be responsible for the charity’s ongoing donor acquisition and retention activity, with a brief to focus on recruiting new, younger supporters.
Strategic planning for the £2 million brief is already underway, and the first campaign is scheduled to go live in June, with both offline and digital elements.
“Most people in the UK know of Samaritans’ confidential emotional support service, but few realise that it is almost entirely funded by voluntary contributions,” says David Burrows, Head of Fundraising at TDA. “This, coupled with some new developments in the pipeline, provides an excellent platform for fundraising.”
