Cayman Islands Company Registry

Thankyou Karen Blakeman for the latest edition of Tales from the Terminal Room, (February 2010) www.rba.co.uk/tfttr. Amongst other things, she reports details of the General Registry Cayman Islands (www.ciregistry.gov.ky). This now has a company search option. It costs CI$30 (US$36.59) to view a company record. You can make one-off payments, or create an account. An online account is created automatically when you provide funds with a value greater than the cost of a single search.
Karen reports that the results include company name, file number, formation date, registration date, entity type, registered office, status & status date. Well, that’s a start, I guess.
