Arts & Business Scotland Awards 2010 open for nominations

Arts & Business Scotland has opened nominations for its annual Arts & Business Scotland Awards 2010. It is encouraging any business and arts partnership or sponsorship that has taken place between 1 April 2009 and 31 March 2010 to submit an entry.
There are seven awards categories:
· Community
· People Development
· Young People
· New or Returning Sponsor
· Sustained Partnership
· Cultural Branding
There is one further category for individuals, the Leadership Award for an individual who has shown outstanding leadership in the arts during 2009.
A panel of judges chaired by Ken Ross OBE, Chairman and Chief Executive of Elphinstone Properties, will examine entries based on the quality of the relationship established between the business and the arts partners.
The deadline for nominations is 5pm on Thursday 6 May 2010.
