Two new senior managers join the Bible Society

Stuart Rivers and Matt Parkes have joined the Bible Society to generate further income for the charity.
Stuart Rivers, Bible Society’s new Executive Director of Enterprises, is responsible for the charity’s trading arm, Bible Society Resources Ltd. He also oversees Christian Resources Exhibition, Christian Research and Theos, the public theology think tank.
After working as Global Contracts Director with Ericsson Enterprise in Sweden, he worked for four years as an officer in the Salvation Army.
Matt Parkes is the Bible Society’s new Director of Fundraising. He joins from marketing agency Bluefrog where he was Client Services Director.
Before that he worked for CAFOD and ChildLine where he oversaw their merger with the NSPCC.
Bible Society’s previous Director of Fundraising and Communications, Peter Meadows, has been seconded as Communications Director to More Than Gold, the UK church’s united response to the 2012 Olympic Games. he continues as Associate Director at Bible Society.
