Entries due for £1000 Alliance Essay Prize

Alliance magazine is offering a prize of £1,000 for its Alliance Essay Prize, and entries must be received by 30 September.

The subject of the prize, run in association with the Environmental Funders Network, is “As a philanthropist, how would you spend $10 million to combat global warming?”

The winning essay will be published in the December issue of Alliance magazine and on the Alliance website.

The international panel of judges will include Sandra Smithey of the Mott Foundation and Martin Rocholl of the European Climate Foundation, together with other climate change experts from the Global South.

Essays must be no more than 1,000 words, submitted electronically to Kai Hopkins, General Manager, at ka*@al**************.org. All essays must be original pieces of work, not published before.
