Oryx Digital announced new Professional and Advanced Editions of their PerfectTablePlan software today.

"PerfectTablePlan has grown in depth considerably over with each new version and we decided now was an ideal time to create separate PerfectTablePlan products aimed at professional event planners and frequent users." said Oryx Digital Director Andy Brice. "This allows us to add much more powerful features without overwhelming casual users."

The new features include:

* Adding tables on to a scaled floor plan, saving time that would be required to re-draw the venue.

* Customising the information stored for each guest, so that PerfectTablePlan can be adapted to the unique requirements of each event.

* Custom automatic seat arrangement, for example you can tell the automated seating to put people from the same organization together or split them up.

* More flexible reporting, for example you can report meal selection by table or amount of money owing by group.

"I have used PerfectTablePlan for many years now in planning and organizing many kinds of meetings for 80-200 people," said Werner Schwab, an event planner and early adopter of PerfectTablePlan Professional Edition.

"The new features are a great help. I especially appreciate that I can now use a scaled plan of the venue as a backdrop for the table plan and insert custom fields for better registering the guests. It makes life a lot easier."
