Well, there is finally a Register of Charities for Guernsey. For years, anyone wanting to research Charities in Guernsey usually started with The Association of Guernsey Charities at www.charity.org.gg, or checked to see who was funding projects in Guernsey.

Now the new Guernsey Register of Charities can be found on the States of Guernsey website- http://gov.gg Home > Income Tax > Charities and non-profit organisations > Register – Charities. You can go straight there at http://digbig.com/4yxnw. The register shows the name, address and registration number. Almost all have addresses in Guernsey.

There is also a Guernsey Non Profit Organisations Register on the States of Guernsey website Home > Income Tax > Charities and non-profit organisations > Register – Non Profit Organisations

I don’t know whether grantmakers need to be registered. I had better get rummaging
