Virgin Trains’ staff have voted for CLIC Sargent as its charity partner for the year. The partnership is expected to raise £200,000 for the charity. To launch the partnership Virgin Trains named one of its Pendolino trains ‘CLIC Sargent’ at London’s Euston station.

“To kick things off, we auctioned off some old train nameplates earlier this year, and I am delighted to present a cheque for £100,000 as the first instalment in what I am sure will be a major contribution to the charity’s funds”.
The CLIC Sargent train will run on the West Coast Main Line.
