New Chief Executive at Anthony Nolan Trust

The Anthony Nolan Trust has appointed Henny Braund as its new Chief Executive. She joins the charity this month, succeeding Dr Steve McEwan who died in September 2008.

Braund was previously Resources Director at Shelter, responsible for IT, HR, Planning and Project Management, Property and Facilities and until recently Finance. She has over 20 years experience of management in the voluntary sector.

She was the Trustee and then the Chair of the Health and Housing Charity and a Trustee of Thames Reach. She is also a founding Trustee of the Small Charities Coalition.

Simon Dyson, Chairman of Trustees said: “We are looking forward to working with Henny, who we know will be an inspirational Chief Executive, building on and developing in her own way the exemplary work Dr Steve McEwan achieved for the Charity.”
