If you generate an income for your organisation by selling books, DVDs, electrical items etc as an Amazon Associate, there’s now another tool available to you to increase your audience and income.
You can now create RSS feeds from various categories of the site:
* Bestsellers of various Categories
* Bestsellers of Sub-Categories
* New Releases
* Most gifted Products
* Most Wished For Producst
Of course, each item listed on the feed comes complete with your associate ID. Anyone clicking on the feed’s links and then buying the item from Amazon will therefore generate income for your organisation.
By selecting and creating a relevant feed, you can enhance the RSS offerings of your site. For example, supporters can pull your RSS feed onto their blog, or Facebook page, or simply keep up to date with the content.
Here, for example, is a feed for best-selling e-commerce books:
www.amazon.co.uk/rss/bestsellers/books/404214?tag=AssocID-21
This facility will become considerably more useful if you can use it to provide a RSS feed based on a search term e.g. fundraising. Nevertheless, there are some useful applications available now, and explained at:
