Wessex Charity Awards 2009 open for nominations

The Wessex Charity Awards 2009 are now open for nominations. They are designed to celebrate the work of the staff and volunteers of the charities and not-for-profit organisations that operate throughout the Wessex region.
There are five categories:
* Wessex Charity CEO of the Year
* Wessex Fundraising Team of the Year
* Wessex Volunteer of the Year
* Wessex Trustee Board of the Year
* Wessex Charity of the Year
The judging panel includes Judith Rich, OBE; Stuart Etherington – Chief Executive, NCVO; Mark Astarita – Director of Fundraising, British Red Cross; and Jenny Warner, Director of one of the sponsoring companies PAS Consultants Ltd.
The winners will be announced at a gala dinner at The Rose Bowl, home of Hampshire cricket, on 26 February 2009.
Nominations must be submitted by 31 October 2008.
