CTT & Cisco offer free Voice over IP (VOIP) course for charities

Howard Lake | 10 September 2008 | News

Charity Technology Trust and Cisco are hosting a free half-day seminar to help charities understand the benefits of using the Internet to make and receive calls using Voice Over Internet Protocol (VOIP).
Primarily VOIP can offer an opportunity for many charities to reduce their technology and communications costs, but there are other innovative services possible using the technology.
The morning seminar will include a case study from Home Call Centre which is helping a number of charities reduce their costs and enhance the delivery of some of their phone-based services.
The free event takes place from 10am to 1pm on 6 October 2008 at Cisco’s UK Headquarters near Heathrow Airport.
