Commonwealth Games 2014 Legacy in Scotland
The Scottish Government and the Big Lottery Fund are holding a 100 metre dash of a consultation to seek views of how best to ensure a legacy from the 2014 Commonwealth Games to be held in Glasgow. Online comments are welcome before 4 July 2008.
The consultation was launched on 19 June at The Gathering, Scotland’s largest voluntary sector event. Questions range from what sort of legacy should be left, to how big should grants be and how should the East of Glasgow benefit.
