Celebrating 10 years of Yorkshire Building Society Charitable Foundation with cake

The Yorkshire Building Society Charitable Foundation is inviting people to nominate good causes to share in its tenth anniversary charity give-away.
Customers and members of the public are invited to call into any of the Yorkshire’s 135 branches and 65 agencies during next week’s ‘Together We Make a Difference Week’ (Friday 13th to Saturday 21st June) and recommend a charity to receive a £50 donation.
The Charitable Foundation is celebrating its tenth anniversary this year. Since it was founded, it has donated more than £2.7 million to over 5,600 charities. It receives most of its funds through the Society’s Small Change, Big Difference scheme where members donate the pennies from the interest they receive on their accounts to make a huge pot of charity money.
Last year £43,000 was donated to over 770 nominated good causes.
