Funding Roadshow

The 2008 ACEVO Funding Roadshow, the annual one-day conference for charities featuring senior-level presentations from the principal statutory, lottery and trust funders, will take place in Birmingham, Leeds and London in June and July.
The programme, presented by Action Planning and ACEVO with CAF, Third Sector magazine, and UK Fundraising, includes presentations from statutory funders from across Government, Government agencies, Local Authorities and PCTs on key funding programmes for 2008-9; Futurebuilders’ new chief executive, Jonathan Lewis, on how a wider range of charities can benefit from the £215 million Futurebuilders fund; and Lloyds TSB Foundation chief executive, Linda Kelly, and colleagues from the principal national and regional grant-making charitable trusts.
A team of Action Planning staff will share their expertise. Cynthia Hansen will explain outcome driven planning, and Derek Smith will cover preparing successful bids for statutory contracts.
ACEVO Strategy Director, Peter Kyle, will present new ways to allocate costs across a range of projects, with the support of your funders, and major donor fundraising experts Midé Akerewusi and Robin Thomas will explain how to find and recruit high net worth individuals as major donors.
The roadshow takes place at:
* London on 18 June (Central Hall Westminster)
* Birmingham on 24 June (National Motorcycle Museum)
* Leeds on 8 July (The West Yorkshire Playhouse)
The fee of £125 includes VAT, lunch and a networking reception.
ACEVO members attending personally will receive a 10% discount if they quote their membership number when booking.
