Wales Volunteer of the Year award - in English and Welsh
Volunteer of the Year

The Wales Volunteer of the Year Awards, run by Wales Council for Voluntary Action (WCVA) and supported by Royal Mail, are designed to reward people “who have made an outstanding contribution to their community”.
There are five categories:
* adult (over 25 years)
* young person (under 25 years)
* ‘green’ volunteer (any age, volunteering with an environmental project or organisation)
* trustee
* groups (of two or more people)
Last year over 200 nominations were received.
The deadline for receipt of nominations is 28 March 2008.
