Atos Origin to help Macmillan improve supporter services

Howard Lake | 14 February 2008 | News

International IT services company Atos Origin has been appointed by Macmillan Cancer Support to help it improve its IT infrastructure, systems integration and change management, with the aim of improving its supporter services.
The company will provide a technology platform that incorporates a suite of software including Microsoft Office Sharepoint and Dynamics CRM.
A secure information repository will be created through the customer relationship management and content management systems. These tools will provide Macmillan staff and its associated professionals with consistent information about the charity’s customers. Atos say that this “will significantly increase the effectiveness of Macmillan’s delivery of cancer support services and will improve fundraising”.
Rob Gethen Smith, Head of IT for Macmillan said: “Following a competitive tender, we selected Atos Origin because they demonstrated the right mix of technical and change management capability, which is just what Macmillan needs for a programme of this size”.
Atos Origin has delivered more than 500 CRM projects worldwide and works with other UK charities.
