GOSHCC chooses DataFlux for donor data quality and integration

Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity (GOSHCC) has chosen DataFlux®’s dfPower® Studio to help it analyse, improve and control data within its 3.5 million-record donations database.
DataFlux provides data quality and data integration solutions and is a wholly owned subsidiary of SAS. It will help the charity to investigate, standardise, de-duplicate, cleanse and verify the data in its Raiser’s Edge database at the point of capture.
GOSHCC’s database contains 3.5 million financial records held on over 500,000 donors, both individuals and businesses.
By implementing dfPower Profile, part of the dfPower Studio suite, the charity is able to investigate data held on donors by geographic and socio-economic categorisation.
Laura Shobiye, Head of Business Support at GOSHCC, said: “Operationally we are able to use dfPower Studio to customise data quality business rules, allowing us to define how data is managed and ensure its integrity and cleanliness. The customised design environment means we can be confident that our data assets will deliver significant value for years to come.”
