Trinity Hospice beats last year's Light Up a Life appeal total by £10,000

Trinity Hospice expects to raise £60,000 from its Light Up A Life appeal, beating last year’s total by £10,000.
Over 700 supporters of Clapham-based Trinity Hospice joined celebrities Geraldine James and Huw Edwards on 13 December 2007, to celebrate its ‘Light Up A Life’ Christmas appeal.
The Light Up A Life appeal has taken place each Christmas since 1998. For every donation received, in response to the appeal, a symbolic light shines out on the 40 ft Christmas tree outside the hospice to dedicate and honour the life of a loved one. Each dedication is then written into a special book for display within the hospice.
