Save the Children to benefit from the 2007 Asian Woman Awards

Tonight’s 2007 Asian Woman Awards – For Excellence, to be held at Whitehall Place in London, will raise funds for Save the Children.

Hosted by BBC Asian Network DJ Adil Ray and Asian Woman Magazine’s relationship and travel columnist Simone Bienne, the event consists of eight categories. The awards will be judged by a panel of industry experts and celebrities including Rani Singh, Nazir Afzal (Director of Crown Prosecution Service), and Sunny Hundal.

The event will include a charity auction throughout the evening. There will also be a film shown about Save the Children’s work in Asia and afterwards Saira Khan will talk about Save the Children’s work around the world.
