The Guide to Grants for Individuals in Need 24/25 - hold an umbrella over someone's head

For every virtual gift, there is a season

And that season is, of course, Christmas.
So the Virtual Gift barrage is nearly upon us – you can hardly visit a UK based website of repute without being assailed by banner ads of every kind. This year it seems even more organisations are joining the fray, and no doubt soon the arguments over what constitutes a genuine gift, and how money raised is being spent will also rear its head.
Away from all this furore, one of the elder statesmen of the virtual gift world, FARM-Africa have produced what I think is a simply wonderful short video clip to promote their wares this year. It is light-hearted, spontaneous, illuminating, and above all, genuine. It looks inexpensive and under produced, and is all the better for that too. Best of all, it must surely bring a smile to the face of anyone who has a heart.
It is on Youtube, Google videos, and all the main social networking sights. Have a look at it here, enjoy, and pass it on to a friend.
Oh, and make sure you have the volume up loud.
