WWF partners with toilet tissue company

Howard Lake | 16 September 2007 | News

Brandrepublic reports that toilet-tissue brand Velvet, owned by SCA Hygiene, is entering a partnership marketing deal with wildlife charity WWF. The £10 million deal will see packs of Velvet sporting the WWF logo on the front.

SCA is “Europe’s biggest private forest owner” and has worked with WWF on methods of limiting the environmental impact of its business. It is the only company that has met WWF’s standards for avoiding forest destruction and promoting forest management.
