TalkTalk offers grants for Internet projects

Communications company TalkTalk and digital inclusion charity Citizens Online have launched the Innovation in the Community Awards, offering grants of £2,000 to spend on PC’s, hardware, software or technical expertise to start up or develop an Internet project.

The Innovation in the Community Awards are offering 30 grants of £2,000 to winning charities and communities groups throughout the UK to fund Internet related projects. Free TalkTalk broadband is also included in the award.

The deadline for applications, which can be submitted online only, is 28 September 2007 and winners will be notified by 10 October. The awards will be presented at a ceremony in November.
