ClickNow redesigns website and search facilities

ClickNow, the search engine that donates 50% of its gross revenue goes to charities and organisations whose supporters use the site, has redeveloped its website and search facilities.

The new layout is intended to make site navigation clearer for partner charities and searching the Internet easier for supporters. It also offers improved affiliate links to shopping channels to provide ClickNow partners with more revenue opportunities.

Charles Lovibond, CEO of ClickNow, explained why the site was redesigned: “We felt that in order to take advantage of commercial opportunities available to us, and to allow our partners to properly utilise the facilities, we needed to make the website and search pages easier to use, and we’re pleased to say that all the feedback indicates that we have achieved our aim.”

He added: “The search pages have a very simple design, for two reasons: firstly it brings them into line with the most popular search engines, which are clear in their purpose. Secondly, the more minimal our site is, the more room there is for our partners to promote their own causes and their own messages, which after all, is the whole point!”

Launched in 2005, ClickNow, a partner with search engine Ask.com, has donated over £100,000 to participating charities.
