Charity consultancy 2into3 has hosted an event in Dublin to examine school fundraising, a growing area of fundraising in Ireland. ‘School Fundraising in Ireland’ attracted interest from throughout the country.

The event at the Guinness Storehouse in Dublin included speakers Jenni Barrett, Executive Director of the Clongowes Wood College Foundation, Richard Morton from Rockboro School in Cork and Dennis O’Connor from 2into3.

Attendees were given presentations followed by an open forum discussion about their own plans and aspirations and also to heard how other schools had brought their own campaigns to fruition. Schools from Dublin, Kildare, Galway, Limerick, Cork and Kilkenny were represented.
