Simi Epstein has been appointed as the National Fundraising Manager of veterinary charity PDSA.

Previously Head of Community Fundraising at the Motor Neurone Disease Association, Simi more than doubled their community fundraising income during her five years there. She joined PDSA at the end of August.

Simi said: “Each year, PDSA PetAid services provide some 1.3 million free veterinary treatments to sick and injured pets across the UK. Community fundraising already plays a crucial role in supporting this and my aim is to develop this, paying particular focus on how to engage individuals and get them more involved.
