New Philanthropy Capital, which recently announced it is advising donors on £1 million of gifts per month, has published its latest report for donors, focusing on charities that provide mentoring services.

New Philanthropy Capital’s latest report, “Lean on me”, explains to donors how to spot a good mentoring programme and explores which approaches work well and which don’t.

Nigel Harris, Chief Executive at New Philanthropy Capital, said: “Because mentoring is costly and poorly run schemes can end up doing more harm than good, we have highlighted for donors some charities that they can be confident in supporting.”
