Beckham's Euro ball to raise funds for charity

Canadian online casino GoldenPalace.com says that it has acquired the official match football used in the England v Portugal quarter final and will use it to raise funds for charity.

The casino paid ‚€28,050 for it when it was auctioned online at eBay by the fan that managed to get it out of the football ground.

Richard Rowe, CEO of GoldenPalace.com, said: “We plan on raising a lot more money for charity than we did paying for this ball. Expect to see The Ball traveling around the world in an effort to raise money for charitable organisations”.
