The Bank of American Neighbourhood Excellence Initiative is seeking nominations for people and organisations in Greater London who are dedicated to “creating vibrant neighbourhoods”.

The Bank of America Foundation is offering awards in two categories. Its Neighbourhood Builders programme will provide £110,000 in core operating support and leadership training over two years to two charitable organisations working to promote vibrant communities.

The Local Heroes programme recognises five ‘heroes’ each year whose achievements and leadership on local issues contributes significantly to neighbourhood vitality. Recipients will receive £3,000 to give to an eligible charity of their choice.
