CharitySoftware survey how charities research a database supplier

Howard Lake | 20 March 2007 | News

Charity sector software specialists CharitySoftware Ltd are asking clients and the wider charity sector how they make the first move in finding a long-term database partner. They are running an online survey with a free prize draw to win a digital camera.

Although the company already has over 165 active clients, it wants to develop its understanding of the sector further. Staff at charities and educational organisations are invited to take part in the survey.

Marketing and Communications Manager Louise Hamilton, a former fundraiser, said: “From the face-to-face surveys I carried out at the CHASE exhibition last month, there was some surprising feedback. We’re running this research until mid-April as I’m keen to understand how organisations approach the task of making such a long-term investment.”

The survey closes on 16 April 2007. CharitySoftware say that individual comments will be treated in confidence; although summary results of the survey may be made public.
