Whatnoise.org use online games to raise funds

Whatnoise.org have developed a very unusual online fundraising website which employs a series of experimental games before delivering the visitor to the online donation page.
Visitors are encouraged to play the word and sound games, which can get quite tricky and demand considerable attention. There’s a link giving you an option to give up, which you have to click at some point, so difficult are the games. You’re then presented with the ask, and a donate button. Move your cursor to the donate link though and the white background and all other content on the page is blacked out to reveal the white ‘donate’ text on a black page.
It’s a compelling introduction to the difficulties faced by children with hearing difficulties. The games are designed to demonstrate some of the difficulties these children face, making the ask all the more effective.
The site was designed by Kinetic Singapore.
