Campaigns for Fundraiser of the Year award

Howard Lake | 14 February 2007 | Blogs

Nominations for this year’s Institute of Fundraising National Fundraising Awards are open, and we’ve spotted several campaigns on behalf of individuals to win the Fundraiser of the Year award. It’s very encouraging to see efforts by fundraisers to ensure that one of their peers gets the recognition s/he deserves.
So far we’ve spotted campaigns on behalf of Finbar Cullen and, posthumously, on behalf of Maggie Taylor and Luke FitzHerbert. Let us know if you’ve come across any others.
It’s particularly heartening to see this kind of grassroots effort on peers’ behalf, not least because UK Fundraising is sponsoring the “Fundraiser of the Year” award for the first time.
