Glastonbury ticket registration to benefit WaterAid

Howard Lake | 5 February 2007 | News

Glastonbury Festival’s efforts to stop touts selling on tickets will this year benefit WaterAid, one of the chosen charities of the event.

This year’s festival-goers will need to register their interest during February by completing a form and returning it with a passport photograph. They will then obtain a unique code which will be needed when tickets go on sale on 1 April.

Registration can be picked up from any of Millets’ 285 high street stores. For every form given out in-store, Millets will give 10p to WaterAid.

The registration period runs from 8am on 1 February to midnight on 28 February 2007.

The 2007 Glastonbury Festival will take place at Worthy Farm from 22 to 24 June, subject to licence.
