Hallmark Cards in Mother's Day-focused partnership with Breast Cancer Campaign

Howard Lake | 29 August 2006 | News

Hallmark Cards have announced that they will make a contribution of £225,000 to the Breast Cancer Campaign in March 2007.

The company will focus its giving on a programme that peaks around Mother’s Day 07, but that will build each year as an annual campaign of activity. Additionally Hallmark Cards will be donating a further £25,000 to Action Breast Cancer, a project of the Irish Cancer Society.

Over the coming months the team will be creating a series of initiatives that prepares the ground for their Mother’s Day theme. The total donation of £250,000 will not be linked to the retail of cards but will be made regardless of any sales. In addition the company will raise awareness of Breast Cancer Campaign, the charity that specialises in funding independent breast cancer research across the UK and its aim of researching the cure, through a joint marketing effort.
