FUNDAY SUNDAY FOR ST TERESA’S HOSPICE
22/08/06
Darlington Market Place is playing host to a special family funday in aid of St Teresa’s Hospice.
Funday Sunday will run from 1pm till 4pm on Sunday, September 3, with a range of fundraising activities and family entertainment taking place throughout the afternoon.
Entrance is free but visitors will be able to help raise money for the Darlington-based Hospice thanks to a number of stalls, fun fair rides and tombola.
Entertainment will also be provided with a vintage car display and a musical performance from the Darlington Harlequins Juvenile Jazz Band.
All proceeds from the event will be used to help fund St Teresa’s Hospice’s palliative and respite care services, including Hospice at Home and specialist counselling.
St Teresa’s Hospice Director, Jane Bradshaw, said: Funday Sunday is an ideal time for families to enjoy an afternoon out together and help raise money for a good cause at the same time.”
