Dogs Trust raises over £10,000 with ClickNow search engine

ClickNow, the search engine that generates income for charities, reports that one of its charity aprtners, Dogs Trust, has raised over £10,000 in the first year of ClickNow’s service.

Adrian Burder, Marketing Director for Dogs Trust said: “We are on course to more than double our total raised from ClickNow in this coming year and our overall objective is to generate £100,000 a year from this fundraising initiative”.

Cats Protection, who joined with ClickNow at the end of 2005, managed to triple their revenue from ClickNow last month after sending a newsletter to supporters with a message about ClickNow.

Sally Smith, New Media Manager at Cats Protection said: “[ClickNow] costs our supporters absolutely nothing and transforms their routine keyword searches into actions that make a real difference to the lives of cats in the UK.”

ClickNow now has over 150 charity partners, and its corporate partners now include Emap, Schroders Bank and Sky. These companies place the search facility on the staff intranet to help them raise funds for their favourite charities.
