Third Sector’s amusing Paper round section today included a good example of how not to praise a charity.
Ex-Spandau Ballet member Gary Kemp praised Amnesty International but only by knocking all other animal charities. Third Sector quotes Pandora, The Independent’s gossip column: “There is so much emphasis on animal welfare with charity these days. It just doesn’t appeal to me, unlike Amnesty. Its work is a whole lot more important than fluffy animals.”
