Five Darlington charities launch joint payroll giving campaign

Howard Lake | 14 May 2006 | News

Five of Darlington’s charities have joined forces to launch a new fundraising scheme to help raise funds for their work in the town.

St Teresa’s Hospice, The Friends of Darlington Memorial Hospital, Darlington MIND, Darlington Samaritans and Age Concern Darlington, have jointly formed the Darlington Charity Partnership (DCP), which will allow them to work together in an effort to help those most in need.

In particular, the DCP has established a new Payroll Giving Scheme, which will allow participants to make a direct donation through their salary. All proceeds will be divided equally.
