MP Theresa May gives CfA Annual Lecture
The Rt Hon. Theresa May, MP Shadow Leader of the House of Commons gave the 2006 Annual CfA Lecture yesterday in the Plaisterers’ Hall in London.
More than 300 individuals representing charities, government, business and professional and learned societies attended this year’s Lecture and Reception.
Speaking to the theme ‘The Role and Future of the Voluntary Sector in Britain’, she commented: “In my contacts with the sector across the country I am always struck by just how entrepreneurial so many of these groups are in developing innovative and exciting ways to help people with their problems”.
