Sign up for third party emails from UK Fundraising

Howard Lake | 20 February 2006 | News

UK Fundraising is about to start distributing email advertisements on behalf of other organisations to registered users who have opted in to receive such messages. If you would like to take advantage of these alerts, the first of which will come from Charities Aid Foundation (CAF), then login/register and tick the third-party signup box.

UK Fundraising’s new third party email service is designed to help organisations bring details of new services, products, events or other offers to a select group of fundraisers.

To be clear, the adverts are sent out by UK Fundraising on behalf of the advertiser. The advertiser never gets to see the list of email addresses.

UK Fundraising expects to receive more advert requests than it can handle, but we initially plan to send out an advert no more frequently than once a month. We are very aware of the problem of email overload, so this will in many ways be a premium service to advertisers.

The only way to receive these alerts is to opt in to receive them. This means you need to be registered with the site, and to sign up on the profile page to receive third party emails.

Of course, you can unsubscribe from this service at any time, either via the profile page, or by clicking on the unsubscribe link in each message sent out.

To take advantage of the first email advert from CAF you will need to register for third party emails today.
