Legacy code of practice to be revised

The Institute of Fundraising will revise its Code of Fundraising Practice on Legacy Fundraising to cover the full legacy process, including administration, management and fulfilment of a legacy gift.

Outlining best practice ./guidance for charities engaged in legacy fundraising, the current Code will be revised and updated to take into account improvements in best practice and new legislation.

The Institute is asking fundraisers and consultants with significant experience of legacy fundraising and lawyers to help develop the Code by applying to Chair or join the Working Party. The deadline for applications to join the Working Party is 25 November 2005.
