· Raymond Briggs’ envelope, which raised £1,020
It was clear from early on in the auction that the Damien Hirst item would do well.

This is the second year the the Trust has run this event. This year it extended to cover the USA, France and Germany.
Richard Sved, Head of Fundraising, said: “We’re thrilled, and grateful for the support of Pitney Bowes in running the auction. Pushing The Envelope raised a huge amount, and we have been delighted by the response. It’s been a great example of effective fundraising on the Internet.”
