The Legacy Promotion Campaign (LPC) has now grown to a membership to 140 charities, including a growing number of smaller charities.

New members of the LPC, which is a collaborative effort by charities to change public perception about leaving charitable legacies, range from St Dunstan’s and Born Free Foundation to The Prince’s Trust. The campaign has also signed up its first NHS Trust, the East and North Hertfordshire NHS Charitable Fund, and its first air ambulance charity, the North West Air Ambulance.

LPC originally focused on the larger charities, but has now introduced a new entry-level membership rate of £650 for smaller charities with a total voluntary income in the range of £0 – £250,000.

Jonathan Parris, Director of LPC, said: “Our new band for smaller charities means that even more charities can get the message through to prospective legacy donors they ordinarily cannot identify or afford to reach, and to solicitors that are unable to promote individual good causes.”
