100 Centrica employees raise £30,000 for NCH over two days

Almost one hundred employees from the Centrica group, which owns British Gas, Scottish Gas and Onetel, participated in a weekend-long event in Ullswater to raise money for the charity’s adoption and fostering, disability, mental health and young carer projects.

The Centrica teams raised money to attend the event through a number of fundraising initiatives. During the weekend the teams completed a range of physical and mental challenges including rock climbing, raft building and orienteering.

Centrica have been in partnership with NCH since February 2005 and has raised over £100,000 to date. The Group aims to raise a further £150,000 by the end of February 2006.
