WaterAid offers Glastonbury tickets in SMS competition

Howard Lake | 24 April 2007 | News

WaterAid and Yeo Valley Organic are offering people a second chance to get to this year’s Glastonbury Festival in an instant text-to-win promotion, with 30p from each text donated to WaterAid by the company.

Tickets for this year’s festival sold out in a record-breaking 90 minutes, but Yeo Valley Organic, official recycling partner at the festival, and WaterAid have 10 pairs of tickets to give away between April 16 and June 17.

WaterAid has been a good cause of the Glastonbury Festival since 1994 and this year is one of the three official good causes of the festival. It provides a team of volunteers each year to staff nine VIP latrines, recycle litter, give out fresh water and talk to festival goers about WaterAid’s work.
