UK Fundraising’s supplier directory now includes an insurance category, listing organisations that can assist fundraisers with insuring their events, organisation and other activities.

The first companies to appear in the new category are Endsleigh Insurance (Brokers) Ltd and Insurex Expo-Sure.

Endsleigh Insurance have over 30 years experience serving the nonprofit sector in the UK. Initially established to cater for the specific needs of students and Student Unions, the company rapidly began to attract charity and commercial clients.

All types of insurance are arranged through major insurers, complemented by Risk Management advice, embracing Health & Safety legislation, Employment Law and Business Continuity Planning.

In addition to its charity and commercial insurance broking activities Endsleigh are also specialists in student schemes, property owners and sports insurances.

They have also partnered with a number of specialist companies to offer charity and other clients services such as risk management, business continuity planning, asbestos removal, property valuations and a loss adjusting service.

Insurance Expo-Sure on the other hand focus specifically on events insurance. This includes issues such as public and employers’ liability, cancellation/abandonment, non-appearance, adverse weather, and loss of property. They cover events from large conferences to village fetes.

Other insurance and companies and brokers are expected to join this section of the suppliers directory shortly. There is certainly a need for this category, based on the number of discussions on insurance that have cropped up on the UK Fundraising Forum.
