NCVO appoints new Head of Sustainable Funding

Howard Lake | 19 June 2005 | News

Claire Glossop has been appointed as Head of Sustainable Funding at the National Council for Voluntary Organisations (NCVO), where she will manage the organisation’s Sustainable Funding Project (SFP), which encourages and enables organisations to explore and exploit a full range of funding options.

The SFP helps organisations understand sustainable funding as a process comprising best practice in a number of areas, with a particular focus on helping organisations think about ways in which they can generate income from trading goods and services.

It also works with local development agencies, policy makers and funding organisations to develop appropriate forms of funding and support that sustain voluntary action beyond short term grant dependency.
