ClickNow have launched their search-based online fundraising tool.

ClickNow is encouraging charities to persuade their supporters to use its search engine. It will then donate at least 50% of this gross revenue to charities through its partnerships with leading search engines.

GMTV’s Richard Gaisford hosted today’s launch to leading UK charities and companies. Charities that have already signed up include Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme, Lord’s Taverners, Animal Health Trust, ILPH, Dogs Trust and Battersea Dogs Home and from leading companies and city institutions including Schroders, Unipart, OCS and MCBD (Advertising).

“Innovative fundraising is more crucial than ever,” said David Stickels, Director of ClickNow. “We are dedicated to providing solutions for charities and this is just one way to raise money for the charities without any outlay to themselves or the donors – it’s that simple and it means that both small and large charities alike can benefit.”

Margaret Hopper of the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme said: “Our websites are an increasingly crucial tool for communication and are becoming key sources for fundraising. Charities are having to invest significantly and hope for an adequate return on the investment but ClickNow provides a way to ask our supporters to generate money without any extra effort. Everyone can take part by doing something that is part of their everyday lives.”
