Fisk Brett celebrates 15th anniversary

Charity software specialists began trading 15 years ago this month. Still under the same management of Robin Fisk and Ben Brett, the company has 160 customers, 20 staff, sister companies in Holland and Spain, and offer a range of products and services for the not-for-profit sector.

The company’s anniversary coincides with a strong showing in this year’s Voluntary Sector IT Survey, published in May’s issue of Charity Finance magazine.

The survey found that the Progress database, developed and supported by Fisk Brett, was more popular than that of their nearest competitors. The survey asked 374 organisations about their approach to IT and the current software they use and revealed that around 85% of users would recommend Progress as a fundraising system compared to around 77% for Donorflex, 75% for Raiser’s Edge, 60% for Visual Alms and an average of 69%.
